Poppy Parrot & Susie
Poppy & Susie are BFFs
My daughter was very sick when she was first born. We thought about getting a dog or cat, instead we got a bird. One of the most unlikely pets, right. Poppy started repeating words like, I love you. Each time Poppy said that, my sick little girl’s eyes would light up. The only thing that would calm Susie down was Poppy. Soon, Poppy and Susie were inseparable. Susie wanted Poppy to come with us everywhere, even to her doctor visits. I believe Poppy is what kept Susie going each day. Now, Susie is healthy and Poppy says, Susie, I love you, over and over. They are like to peas and pod. I am grateful that my daughter is healthy. I wanted to create a tribute to Poppy for helping my little girl through the difficult times of her illness.

Louie & Tea Cup
My dogs help me emotionally
I suffer from anxiety and depression so Louie and Tea Cup are like my emotional support. They give me a reason to get out of bed each day. When I am sad, they are there to lift my spirits, with a lick on the face or a tug on my pants leg. Louie and Tea Cup have given me a reason to keep moving and pushing forward in life. When I think about giving up, I look at Louie and Tea Cup, I realize they need me. What I realize most of all is that I need them, we need each other. I wanted to create a tribute for Louie and Tea Cup because they are truly my inspiration for getting up each day.

Lisa, Snow Storm & Tom
Snow Storm is a gift
My husband Tom, bought me Snow Storm when we first started dating. I call him Snow Storm because he loves to play in the snow. Snow Storm is like our baby. He goes everywhere with us. We installed doggie cams in our home so we could watch Snow Storm during the day. During the winters, we make snow balls, and Snow Storm will run after the snow balls hoping to catch one. One day my husband surprised me, and bought Snow Storm some dog boots and a doggie jacket. I had been telling Tom we needed to get those things so Snow Storm wouldn’t be so cold during the winters. We dressed Snow Storm up and out the door we went. Snow Storm played in the snow for about an hour. He is a part of our family and we love him.

Alessia Giselle
Best Teacher Ever, Thanks!
A happy smile, contagious to all,
With a heart of gold that never falls.
As my role model, you set the bar high,
But you've taught me all I can do is try.
As my friend, you support me,
Helping me achieve goals I never imagined I could reach.
As my teacher, you motivate me
To become the best I can possibly be.
You're always there to help others,
Putting yourself second and acting like a mother.
You're a very admired teacher
Who's caring, kind, and smart.
Whether I like it or not,
You're always here for me
And with my best intentions in your heart.
I always know you'll have my back.
The way you love to help others learn
Is something for which I will always yearn,
And one day when I'm a teacher too,
I will strive to be just like you.
